XiaoMaoLi is a small browser-based Chinese learning playground. The current beta is designed to be simple, local-first, and usable without creating an account.

Learning progress stays on the device

XP, growth stars, cat unlocks, daily activity progress, and game saves are stored in the browser using local storage. XiaoMaoLi does not currently upload this learning progress to a XiaoMaoLi account or cloud database.

• Changing browser or device will not automatically transfer progress.
• Clearing browser data may remove saved progress.
• No child name is needed to play.

No account or social communication

The beta does not provide accounts, friend requests, comments, open chat, photo uploads, public profiles, or location sharing. Any future social feature would require a separate safety design and parent controls before release.

Feedback form

The feedback form is intended for parents, educators, and adult testers. It asks only for product feedback and an optional adult email address. Please do not submit a child’s full name, school, contact details, photograph, or other identifying information.

When the site is hosted on Netlify, feedback submissions and routine technical hosting logs may be processed by Netlify as the hosting provider. XiaoMaoLi itself does not intentionally add advertising trackers or behavioural analytics in this beta.

Audio and uploaded music

Some activities use browser speech and audio. When a user selects a music file for the dance game, the file is used locally in that browser session and is not intentionally uploaded by XiaoMaoLi.

Early beta status

XiaoMaoLi is an early educational prototype, not a substitute for school teaching, professional educational assessment, or parental supervision. Features and this notice may be updated as the product develops.

家长简要说明

目前版本不需要注册账号，也没有公开聊天、排行榜或陌生人互动。学习进度保存在当前浏览器；清除浏览器资料或更换设备后，进度可能无法保留。反馈表只供家长、老师及成年测试者使用，请勿填写孩子的姓名、学校、照片或其他个人资料。
